Following the events of COVID-19, the demand for partially or fully online engineering programs has grown significantly. While online education has expanded access to engineering courses, providing hybrid and remote learners with hands-on experiences remains a key challenge.
Our Mission
Beyond The Box Engineering aims to provide affordable, hands-on, educational resources to supplement laboratory coursework for both in-person and remote learning students.
Our Mechanism
Our mission is achieved through the design, fabrication, and distribution of Engineering Lab Kits. Upon inquiry, we condense brick-and-mortar laboratory activities down to tabletop size. Our kits can be either shipped to remote learners or provided directly to hybrid students.
Okay, But What is a “Lab Kit”?
After carefully considering the needs of both students and educators, we concluded:
A Lab Kit is a collection (or single piece) of interactive laboratory equipment, the contents of which can be managed and completed by a single uneducated user, accompanied by pertinent instructional and educational material.
